- My name is Kimberly.I am from TN.I have a wonderful husband whom I dated 2 years before marrying on 7/1/95.We tried to conceive for years before we were blessed with a baby boy through adoption.CJ was born in 2005 and has changed our life more than we ever thought.We love our son unconditionally.Am I considered less a mommy by others because I didn't give birth? I'm not sure.I am sure however that I could not love a biological child anymore than I do "our son"! He is our miracle.Our life.Our everything. One day we hope to adopt again.Maybe a little sister for CJ.We leave it in God's hands.

Thanks for entering my giveaway. I also want to adopt. I had my baby in 2007 but had a really hard pregnancy. I had a really hard time. Before I had my son I wanted to adopt because I realize how many babies need someone to love them and I have a lot of love to give. Im thinking of adopting in 2011, it will be a stable time in my career to take this step.
I think that you are NOT less of a mother because you adopt. Actually it makes you more. So many babies are left by their bio parents even in trashes. They are so stupid because they dont realize what beautiful angles they are letting go. You are beautiful to take a baby. He is yours because a mother is one that wipes away the tears and snuggles at night. A mom is one that cries when their baby is sick and they would rather suffer than their baby. You are a mom and you should say it proud. God Bless you!!!:)
